How to find the right experience

An experience worth the passport is one you could not reasonably have at home: a Galapagos landing at first light, a Douro harvest, a Kyoto tea house that takes an introduction, a Serengeti camp that moves with the migration, a Norwegian coastal sailing in winter.

The experiences we feature are drawn from suppliers we work with constantly, expedition and river lines, luxury ocean ships, private guiding companies, and small hotel groups, so we know how they run in practice rather than in the brochure. When something is featured here, an advisor has either traveled it or sent enough clients to speak about it honestly.
