Travel Wizards started as the vision of Magda Johnson, who set out to build on her experience as a worldwide traveler and savvy business manager. Since 1981, we've served clients with incomparable expertise, delivering efficient business travel and extraordinary vacations, becoming one of the leading independent agencies on the Northern California Peninsula.

Working with our advisors
Travel professionals are compensated by commissions paid by suppliers. Booking a cruise, a hotel stay, or a grand-luxe tour with us comes with the same supplier pricing as shopping directly, and you get us, to attend to every detail and come to your rescue if things go wrong.

Who you are actually working with
Travel Wizards was founded in Fort Lauderdale in 1981 and has stayed deliberately mid-sized ever since. Large enough to hold Virtuoso membership, ARC and IATA accreditation, and real negotiating weight with hotels and cruise lines. Small enough that the person who plans your trip knows your name, your dates, and why the aisle seat matters.
As a group, our advisors have nearly 300 years of combined travel-planning experience, including more than 175 years with Travel Wizards. That continuity is the point: the relationships that produce upgrades, late availability and favors during a disruption are built over decades, not campaigns.
We work across leisure, cruise, expedition, private jet and corporate travel, which means one relationship covers a family holiday, an anniversary voyage, and a company's travel program. Advisors specialize, but the file follows you, so preferences recorded once do not need repeating.
