Itinerary:
Day 01, Sept. 02, 2010 - En Route
Board your flight from San Francisco to Dubrovnik.

Day 02, Sept. 03, 2010 – Arrive in Dubrovnik
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy welcome drinks in the evening.

Day 03, Sept. 04, 2010 – Dubrovnik & Kotor
Travel to the Republic of Montenegro. Head towards the mouth of the beautiful bay of Kotor, the longest and deepest fjord in Southern Europe. See the little towns of Risan and Kotor. Then proceed to Cetinje, once the seat of Montenegrin rulers, today a city museum. After the sightseeing in Cetinje, travel to the coast for a short stop in the villages of Sveti Stefan and Budva before returning to Dubrovnik.      (B, D)

Day 04, Sept. 05, 2010 – Dubrovnik
Day at Leisure. In the evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

Day 05, Sept. 06, 2010 – Dubrovnik & Split
Depart Dubrovnik and travel north along the spectacular Adriatic Coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts, to Split. Enjoy a city tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its renaissance and gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. (B, D)

Day 06, Sept. 07, 2010 – Split
Hvar Island excursion. In the evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

Day 07, Sept. 08, 2010 – Split & Trogir
After breakfast head to Trogir, the center of artistic activities. Scholars from around the world gather to study and paint here. (B, D)

Day 08, Sept. 09, 2010 – Split & Zadar
Travel to Zadar for a city tour. (B, D)

Day 09, Sept. 10, 2010 – Zadar, Plitvice & Opatija
Travel to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, have your camera ready and take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. In the evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

Day 10, Sept. 11, 2010 – Opatija
Return to the coast and travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to its popular resort, Opatija. Also, visit Pula and Porec. (B, D)

Day 11, Sept. 12, 2010 – Opatija, Postojna & Ljubljana
Journey north to Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. (B)

Day 12, Sept. 13, 2010 – Ljubljana, Lake Bled & Zagreb
After breakfast depart for a morning sightseeing tour of Bled that features the charming town with the lakeshore, and imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. Later in the day, enjoy a city tour of Zagreb featuring the historic upper town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. (B, D)

Day 13, Sept. 14, 2010 – Depart Zagreb
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
